How can Chiropractic help you?

Joint problems and pain can occur at any stage in our lives and there are many reasons why this can happen.

  • You may have had a fall
  • Suffer from poor posture
  • Lifted something incorrectly
  • Or has a sports injury.
What Do McTimoney Chiropractors do?

A McTimoney Chiropractor will take a ‘whole body’ approach to your care. This means that even if you come in with pain and discomfort in one area, we will correct any other issues that we are trained to locate so that we are treating the entire person.

Is Chiropractic for you?

As the McTimoney technique is gentle it is suitable for people of all ages, and has been proven to be effective in the following treatments of:

  • Migraine
  • Muscular aches
  • Back, neck and shoulder discomfort
  • Arthritic pains

Veronica uses a Chiropractic tool called a Athrostim which is an instrument with a spring cushioned pressure response stylus. The spring cushioned action ensures comfort for the patient, tailoring input to each individual.

How is this done?

Chiropractic treatment is a simple method of finding misalignments and adjusting the bones of your body in order to reduce discomfort, improve mobility which will allow the nervous system to work more efficiently.

Why is it important to have a follow up appointment?

Our bodies naturally change and there may be misalignments that show again, so your Chiropractor will detect them again, re- align you and send you on your way again!

How many sessions will I need?

This will be discussed after Veronica’s detailed record taking and Orthopaedic testing on your first consultation. You may be seen towards the end of the week for your follow up treatment or the following week.
